Controls

Controls you can hand to an allocator.

Operational due diligence asks the same questions of every firm. These are our answers, built into how the work is done rather than written into a policy binder.

01

Two sign-offs on every change

A purser prepares; a Chief Purser, a CPA, approves. One person can never post to your books alone, and both names are kept with the entry.

02

AI never makes a number

Every figure is calculated by code. When Tray writes a sentence, its figures are checked against that code’s results before anyone sees it.

03

Nothing erased

Corrections are new entries, never overwrites. Each record keeps two dates, when it happened and when we learned of it, so any past view can be reproduced.

04

Never a false pass

A rule that cannot be checked, for example because a file did not arrive, is reported as “not checked”. It never shows as passed.

05

Each client walled off

Separation is enforced by the database itself, so one client’s records are invisible to every other client, whatever the application does.

06

AI that stays in our building

Tray runs on hardware we operate. Your data is sent to an outside AI provider only if you choose that in writing.

The record

Every entry says who, what, when and from where.

Boundaries

What Purser will never do.

Hold your assets. They stay with your custodians.

Move money or place a trade that you have not released.

Give investment advice. Your decisions stay yours.

Audit your books. That remains your independent auditor’s work.

Send your data to an outside AI provider without your written consent.

Independent assurance

Reports and coverage.

Each item shows its true status. Where a report is not yet issued, our team will walk your diligence reviewers through the controls directly.
